She said that certified letters were mailed to all delinquent mobile homes accounts, and the circuit clerks office on forty-two delinquent accounts. Finally warrants were issued through the Sheriff's depart- ment to seize the remaining twenty- five delinquent accounts. Orange notices of seizure were attached to the mobile homes. There were only two delinquent accounts unpaid. Jennifer Lindsey requested pay- ment to Circuit Clerk Sharon Walsh for the filing of the forty-two tax liens at $5.00 per lien, for $210.00. Amite County Farm Bureau recently awarded scholarships to three students within its service area. The scholarshipp program was established in 2004. Recipients of the scholarships are: Tyler Wall, of Gillsburg, who is a Southwest Mississippi Community College freshman. Wall received a $1,250.00 scholarship and is the son of Jeffery and Kathy Wall. Gabrielle Dillon, of Liberty, who is a Mississippi State University stu- dent and Amite County High School graduate. FOG CONTRIBUTES TO ACCIDENT Monday morning, November 5, 2007, Lashanda Funchess, of Amite County, was injured in a two- vehicle wreck due to foggy condi- tions. The wreck occurred on Smithdale Road west of McComb. Funchess was on her way to work and was at the intersection of Tangipahoa Road near the old cot- ton gin in Amite County when her Nissan Altima struck a cattle trailer pulled by Jeff Deer's, of the Navilla community, Dodge Ram extended- cab pickup. He didn't appear injured. Funchess was transported by an EmergyStat ambulance to South- west Mississippi Regional Medical Center having sustained injuries to her left arm and right leg.
